Travelling can be an exciting experience for children, especially when travelling without a parent, guardian or responsible adult. FlyPelican aims to provide a safe, reliable and comfortable travel experience for young passengers.

Unaccompanied Minors

FlyPelican accepts requests for unaccompanied minors aged 9 to 11 years on most flights, subject to approval and availability of the service. The child travels under the supervision arrangements outlined in FlyPelican's Unaccompanied Minor Policy and Form.

Please arrange this service before booking. Parents and guardians should contact FlyPelican directly to confirm eligibility and availability for the proposed flight.

How to Book

  1. Read the policy and form. Review the Unaccompanied Minor Policy contained in the Unaccompanied Minor Form (PDF) before making a booking.
  2. Contact the bookings team. Call (02) 4965 0111 with the child's travel details to request the service and arrange the flights.
  3. Complete the required form. Fill in the relevant section of the Unaccompanied Minor Form as directed by FlyPelican.
  4. Return the form. Email the completed form to [email protected].
  5. Bring the original to check-in. Present the original completed form and any requested supporting documentation, including valid identification showing the child's date of birth.
